maine flea market list!

2 10 2009

sabattusalong with my coupon addictions, i also am a big time thrifter/flea marketer/garage saler.  i’m cheap, and i refuse to pay retail for anything. i also really like crazy shit. my condo could easily be described as a cross between pee-wee’s playhouse and the mutter museum.

anyway, i met someone today who was trying to furnish her new home with cool retro stuff, but didn’t know where to get it. when i searched online, i realized that the last comprehensive list of flea markets in maine was updated in 2004!

[…] go go gadget contest gallery. 10 05 2010 in case you were wondering when i would get my ass in gear and put up the first round of photos from this month’s goodwill giveaway… the time is now. that’s right, as of exactly 1:19 am tonight while watching “sorority boys” and drinking tequila, the gallery is finally fully functional (and semi-permanenty located in the upper right hand corner of this website).  good times. however, though high in awesomeness, the entries are still looking very SCANT. that’s where you come in. it doesn’t have to be an amazing photo (you know about my love for crappy iphone photos), and it doesn’t have to be a recent purchase. seriously, NO PRESSURE! i’ll even pimp your website right there in the gallery. come on, you know you want to! so get your ass out there, and GET THRIFTING! […]

Hi!
Thanks for the shout out, but we have not been called the “Four Seasons” Flea Market for several years. Google says different but we’re working on that. We are now going by “The Pride’s Corner Flea Market”. Clever huh? We even have a web site http://www.pridescornerfleamarket.com. Also our street address is 33 Elmwood ave. Come see us again soon! We are bigger, funner and cheaper than ever:)

I shall keep this broke207 site for other listings of “Maine Flea Markets”.

Thanks for putting this together as we have been driving out of state for the larger flea markets that are not just yard sales.
