weekend pickthrough- mysteries revealed edition.

20 03 2010

sorry that yesterday’s post was such a bummer. sometimes a girl has something on her mind, and it can’t all be rainbows and fart jokes. however, to keep things in balance a little better, this weekend’s pickthrough is nice, fluffy, and easy to digest.

a firm scolding from mindi cherry.

who said that regular jerks can’t take amazing photographs?

partnering with paul. apparently, a really crappy idea (possibly involving hepatitis).

it’s not gonna be free, but savvychicsavings shows us all how the restaurant.com gift certificate is appropriately used. (there’s even a few decent restaurants in maine, although you’d still be paying too much at the farmer’s table).

give an hour take an hour , easy as that. (thanks michelle!)

problem solved.

seriously? another one?

staying calm in the face of a $680 dental bill.

oh no you don’t jlo! and can i just say for the record that i was once asked which 5 movies i would bring with me if i was going to be stranded on a deserted island forever with with dvd player access… this was on my list.

I think your last post was well written. Never apologize for what you write from the heart. That’s the thing about blogging. Not everyday is going to be a Hemingway piece, but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t valid or pertinent. Keep on keepin’ on.

sometimes i worry when i write a post that isn’t funny, people will be put off. although you’re completely right, a girl’s gotta say what’s on her mind. thanks, as always. you’re the best 🙂

You know it wasn’t that long ago when the only local restaurant on restaurant.com was Pat’s Pizza in Yarmouth, and it was ALWAYS sold out. I haven’t checked it in forever for that reason. Soo cool that more local places are on there now. though watch those blackout days/times!

glad to hear that their horizons are expanding! although it seems like false advertising to call them gift certificates. they’re really more like discount cards than anything. i used to love pat’s pizza! i should roll over to yarmouth someday and see if it’s still the same as it was when we were kids (when it was next to the movie theater!).
